Description
A label of high lineage born from Bodegas Carrau's experience in reproducing all the charm of a terroir in a wine that proves to be wonderful. Born from clayey and calcareous soils, the grapes ripen in a temperate climate that enjoys the influence of the Río de la Plata and the Atlantic Ocean.
Pure Tannat, the harvest is strictly manual. The wine ferments and macers for 10 days at 22-25 degrees in stainless steel, while it is aged in half American and half French oak barrels for 18 months.
A deep ruby red color with violet reflections bewitches the sight, while the nose is satisfied by hints of red fruits, plums and quinces. The sip is spicy, with complex notes of tobacco and chocolate acquired from oak aging.
It is the perfect wine to accompany any type of red meat, sublime to be combined with roasted veal.
