Description
The Vinsanto of Fattoria Santa Vittoria was born in the selected vineyards of the company, located in the splendid countryside of Arezzo, in Foiano della Chianta.
It is made 50% with Trebbiano Toscano grapes and 50% with Malvasia long Chianti grapes, harvested when perfectly ripe and left to dry for about two / three months in a roofed room with controlled ventilation. At the end of the process of concentration and slight botrization, the must is fermented in old barrels, in a room under the roof for a period of four to six years, to take advantage of the multiple climate changes to the fullest.
This Vinsanto has a beautiful golden color. The nose has an exceptional complexity, with notes of dried figs that alternate with hints of candied fruit and toasted sensations of almond, with woody elements in the background. In the mouth it shows a velvety and silky body, perfect harmony and good acidity, which balances the sweet note.
Excellent with pastries and dry desserts, phenomenon with lawn cantucci.
