Description
The Prosecco Superiore Cartizze di Astoria is born on the suitable hills of Cartizze and is produced exclusively from Glera grapes.
The manual harvest takes place between September and October, followed by soft pressing and static decantation of the must. The first fermentation takes place in steel containers at 18/19 ° C with selected yeasts, followed by the second fermentation in autoclave for 20-25 days, then 10 days on the lees. It rests in the bottle for 4-6 weeks before being put on the market.
In the glass the wine is a clear straw yellow. The nose perceives hints of white flowers, green apple and citrus. The sip is refreshing, with a pleasant mineral finish.
Ideal as an aperitif, to try with pizza or seafood dishes.
