Description

Carménère Estate Reserva is produced by the Chilean company Errazuriz, founded in 1870 in the Aconcagua Valley, on the northwestern side of the Andes, less than 30 km from the Pacific Ocean.

The grapes were harvested by hand early in the morning and transported to the cellar, where they were de-stemmed and crushed in steel tanks. Subsequently the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 6 months.

In the glass it is ruby in color with violet reflections. It expresses itself on the nose with aromas of fig, pink pepper, toasted notes and cloves. On the palate it has a medium body, soft, with well-filed tannins.

It goes well with red meat and lamb dishes, as well as with semi-aged and aged cheeses.
