Valles Calchaquìes Reserve IG Don David Torrontés 2017 El Esteco

Valles Calchaquìes Torrontés Reserve of the Don David line by Michel Torino - El Esteco was born in vineyards located in the Calchaquíes Valleys, in the wine-growing region of Cafayate, within the Argentine province of Salta.

It is produced entirely with Torrontés grapes, harvested only by hand in the second and third week of March. After partial cold maceration of the bunches, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 14-16 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages for 3 months in steel and for a small part in American oak barrels, before being bottled.

It is characterized by a light and bright straw yellow color with green reflections. The nose opens with delicate floral scents reminiscent of roses and orange blossoms, enriched with elegant spicy notes brought by aging in oak. On the palate it is fresh and citrusy, with characteristic hints of the variety.

Excellent as an aperitif, it is perfect to accompany fish and spicy dishes.
