Valpolicella DOC Castel San PIetro 2016 Montresor
Description
Castel San Pietro was born in the hilly vineyards of the Montresor company, located within the historic towns of Valpolicella.
It is produced with Corvina Veronese and Rondinella grapes, harvested in October. The vinification takes place in a traditional way, with maceration and fermentation at controlled temperatures.
It has a ruby red color and a young and intense aroma, with notes of ripe fruit that are combined with a very delicate floral bouquet. In the mouth it is ready and easy to drink, with a slender body and soft tannins.
Excellent in combination with light appetizers, cold cuts and not too fatty meats and medium-aged cheeses.
