Description
This Valpolicella Ripasso is part of the Torre del Falasco selection of the Cantina Valpantena, the top line of one of the major wineries in the homonymous area.
It is obtained from a blend of Corvina Veronese, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes, whose fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 22-28 ° C, with a maceration on the skins for 10 days. This is followed by a re-fermentation on the pomace of Amarone Torre del Falasco, then aging in oak barrels.
Wine with a ruby red color, it opens to the nose with clear aromas of red flowers, enriched with notes of undergrowth fruits and marasca cherry jam. In the mouth it is large and round, with a pleasant bitter almond aftertaste.
Excellent in the company of roasted meats and game, it is perfect in combination with aged cheeses.
