Description
Valpolicella Superiore is produced by the Castelnuovo del Garda winery or Cantina Sociale Veronese del Garda and belongs to the Ca' Vegar line.
It is made up of the classic Venetian grapes, namely Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara, destemmed and pressed. Vinification takes place in thermo-controlled steel tanks for 10 days. The wine then ages for 6 months in 50hl barrels.
Brilliant ruby red in colour, it reveals aromas of ripe red fruit and spices on the nose. The sip is warm and velvety, with an excellent structure.
The wine goes perfectly with appetizers of cured meats and cheeses, first courses with game sauces and truffles.
