Description
The Valpolicella Superiore of the Tenuta di Naiano was born in the vineyards located in the hilly area of Valpolicella, in the province of Verona.
It is produced 70% with Corvina Veronese grapes, 25% with Rondinella grapes and 5% with Oseleta grapes, harvested manually in early October. The grapes undergo a soft pressing and ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25-31 ° C for about 9 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for about 12 months, before being bottled.
This Valpolicella Superiore is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with moderate transparency. The nose opens with aromas of cherries, plums and black cherry, enriched with pleasant notes of vanilla, licorice and black pepper. On the palate it is pleasantly fruity, with a pleasant softness and an almondy finish.
Perfect to accompany red and roasted meats, it is ideal in combination with game, mature cheeses and mushroom dishes.
