Description
The Passito Tenuta Col Sandago comes from the vines of the homonymous estate, in the municipality of Susegana.
Produced with Glera grapes, Balbi selection, the Passito is the result of a manual harvest, and a scrupulous selection of the best bunches, which are arranged in small cassete and destined for natural drying in the fruit cellar. At the end of the drying phase, the grapes are pressed and the extracted juice, concentrated and very sugary, is immediately placed in oak barrels, where fermentation will take place for about 18 months.
Characterized by a limpid appearance, and golden yellow in color, it has an intense aroma, with notes of candied fruit, citrus peel, aromatic herbs and spices. The sweet and enveloping taste, refreshed by a good acidity, finds a perfect match in the finish of the olfactory notes.
Ideal to serve as a dessert wine, to accompany almond biscuits or dry desserts. Also excellent with blue cheeses, goats, Gorgonzola and Stilton.
