Description

The Venezia Giulia Bianco Kaplja of Damijan was born in the vineyards of Gradiscuta, located in the province of Udine, in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

It is produced 40% with Chardonnay grapes and the remaining 60% with Friulano and Malvasia Istriana grapes. Fermentation takes place in the presence of the skins in oak vats for 60-90 days. Subsequently, the wine is aged in cask for 23 months and aged in bottle for a further 6 months.

Kaplja is characterized by an ancient golden yellow color with opalescent reflections. The wine has a fine and complex bouquet with hints of honey, almonds and bergamot, enriched with pleasant floral notes. On the palate it is full, soft and pleasantly warm and enveloping.

Perfect to accompany hot appetizers, risotto with seafood and white meats, it is ideal in combination with steamed fish and shellfish dishes.
