Vermentino di Gallura DOCG Elibaria 2021 Contini

The Elibaria of the Contini winery is a Vermentino produced in Gallura.

The grapes come from vines grown on soils produced by granite decay with a maximum altitude of 400 meters above sea level. After harvesting, the grapes are de-stemmed and softly pressed to ferment in steel at a controlled temperature. This is followed by an ageing in steel and in the bottle for a few months before being marketed.

Straw yellow in colour with golden reflections, it has very clear notes of citrus and rosemary with iodized and mentholated returns. On the palate it is decisive and fresh, persistent and citrusy with a long finish.

Wine to try with white meats accompanied by mushrooms, it goes perfectly with raw seafood and fish first courses.
