Description

Tanka is produced by the Rubiu winery, founded in 1890, located in the Tallorga plain, in the province of Carbonia-Iglesias.

The wine is made up of 100% Vermentino grapes, a variety that finds one of its regions of excellence in Sardinia. The grapes are delicately destemmed and pressed. The juice thus obtained is decanted and then fermented in thermo-controlled steel tanks. The refinement always takes place in steel, where the wine remains on the fine lees for 6 months, to end with 2 months in the bottle.

In the glass it is straw yellow in color with greenish reflections, it expresses aromas of yellow fruit and citrus fruits on the nose. The sip is fresh and harmonious, with a pleasantly fruity finish.

It goes well with shellfish appetizers, fish and white meats.
