Description

Corum by Can Axartell is a refined and complex white wine, produced in the Terra Mallorca area from Malvasía de Banyalbufar grapes. It presents with a bright lemon yellow color of medium intensity, with dense legs that anticipate a good structure and persistence.

The grapes are harvested manually and processed by gravity. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats, followed by nine months of aging in French oak barrels (foudre), which give the wine smoothness and refined spicy nuances.

The aromatic profile is elegant and broad, with floral hints of jasmine, chamomile, and almond blossoms, accompanied by citrus like lemon zest and lime, tropical fruit such as lychee, mango, and passion fruit, with balsamic touches and notes of Mediterranean herbs like rosemary and thyme. On the palate, it is balanced and fresh, with a medium body, pleasant oiliness, and a long, intense, complex finish where fruity and vegetal notes with a marked Mediterranean character re-emerge.

It pairs perfectly with rich fish dishes, cheeses, white meats, and well-structured vegetarian proposals.
