Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Besler Ross 2007 Pojer e Sandri

The vineyards of the Dolomites Besler Ross di Pojer and Sandri born in vineyards located in the municipality of Faedo, in the province of Trento.

It is obtained from Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, Franconia, Negrara and Groppello grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place in wooden vats, after which the wine remains to age in small oak barrels for about 12 months. Subsequently the wine stops further in steel and in bottles, before being marketed.

Pojer and Sandri's Besler Ross has an intense ruby red color with light purple reflections. The nose opens with elegant aromas of blackberries and morello cherries, enriched with spicy notes of black pepper and licorice. On the palate it is soft and harmonious, with a pleasantly fruity and persistent finish.

Ideal as a whole meal wine, this red wine is excellent in combination with pasta dishes with sauce and grilled meats.
