Description

The Vigneti delle Dolomiti Essenzia of Pojer and Sandri was born in vineyards located in the well-known locality of Palai, in Faedo, in the province of Trento.

It is mainly obtained from Chardonnay, Kerner, and partly from Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling Renano and Traminer, harvested by hand between the end of November and the beginning of December. Fermentation takes place, with maceration of about 15-20 days, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in the same containers before being bottled.

L 'Essenzia of Pojer and Sandri has a straw yellow color. The nose opens with pleasant fruity aromas of peach, black currant, melon and tropical fruit such as pineapple, mango and passion fruit, enriched with notes of candied citrus fruits, honey and eggnog. On the palate it is sweet and fresh, with an intense and persistent aftertaste.

Excellent as a meditation wine, this sweet wine goes well with spicy gorgonzola and other spiced seasoned cheeses, dry desserts and pastries.
