Description

The Vin Santo Del Chianti Classico Riserva Clemente VII of the Castelli del Grevepesa winery is born in vineyards located in Bibbione in the municipality of San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in the fantastic scenery of the Bibbione Castle of the Marquis Rangoni Machiavelli.

It is produced with Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand, with the laying of bunches on reed for drying. The fermentation is slow and takes place in small oak barrels, where the wine subsequently ages for at least 48 months.

Clement VII is characterized by an intense amber yellow color with golden reflections. It has enveloping and complex olfactory scents, with notes of almond and dried fruit. On the palate it is elegant, warm, enveloping and harmonious.

Ideal to be served with spicy cheeses, it is perfect in combination with dry almond based pastries, such as Cantucci Pratesi.
