Description

Vin Santo del Chianti Riserva was born in the heart of Tuscany, from a cellar with over 500 years of tradition.

It is produced 50% with Malvasia del Chianti grapes, a white grape variety with a wide and traditional diffusion in the Tuscan territory, and 50% with Trebbiano grapes, cultivated with sacred respect for nature and the environment. The grapes are matured on a waning moon and left to dry for 3 months. The wine produced is aged for a long time, for 7 years, until fully matured, in oak barrels.

This Vin Santo del Chianti is a sweet but very balanced wine, with a robust body and a golden yellow color with amber shades. The aroma is intense, with hints of dried fruit, in particular dried apricot, and fascinating notes of zàgara. Overall it is a harmonious and very pleasant wine.

Perfect to accompany dry sweets and biscuits, it is particularly suitable in combination with aged cheeses. We recommend serving it at the traditional temperature of 20 ° C, or try it fresh, at around 10 °, to fully appreciate its qualities.
