Description

The Pratto of Cà dei Frati is a white wine that originates from a late harvest out of the ordinary, designed to combine the aromaticity of Sauvignon Blanc, the softness of Chardonnay, and the finesse of Turbiana. This cuvée represents a successful oenological challenge, capable of expressing a strong identity while being respectful of its territory of origin, with a unique and modern stylistic signature.

Vinification takes place entirely in steel, with aging on fine lees for 12 months and a further 2 months in the bottle before being marketed. The process does not include malolactic fermentation, in order to maintain the freshness and natural acidity of the grape varieties unaltered. The result is a complex, balanced, and extremely communicative wine on the palate.

The aromatic bouquet opens with intense notes of tropical fruit, accompanied by vegetal and mineral nuances. On the palate, it is rich and enveloping, with a sweet entry that soon gives way to vibrant acidity and well-calibrated sapidity. The finish is long, with fruity and mineral returns that confirm the elegance and balance of the wine.

Perfect with structured appetizers, foie gras, aromatic first courses, light white meats, and fish with herbs, it also expresses itself at its best when paired with aged cheeses.
