Vino e Visciole Querciantica Velenosi

The Querciantica wine and sour cherries from Velenosi is the result of the ancient Marche tradition of flavored wines and comes from vineyards located in the municipalities of Candiano and Pergola, in the province of Pesaro.

It is produced exclusively with Lacrima grapes, harvested around the first week of July. The grapes are macerated, partly whole and partly crushed, with sugar, to obtain a slow fermentation which leads to the final syrup a very high sugar concentration. Then a refermentation takes place that blends the wine and the syrup, thus obtaining a pleasant aroma.

Querciantica wine and sour cherries is characterized by a deep ruby red color with amaranth reflections. The nose is intense and complex, with delicate hints of violet flowers, enriched with pleasant notes of ripe red fruits. On the palate it is elegant and soft, with a high persistence. Wine with a savory body, it is very fresh and balanced.

Perfect as a meditation wine, it is ideal to accompany small dry pastries and chocolate.
