Description
This Vinsobres by Victor Berard comes from the southern part of the Rhône Valley, from vineyards located between 200 and 450 meters above sea level, set on terraces overlooking Mont Ventoux and the Pre-Alps. Made from Grenache and Syrah, it is a wine that combines freshness and elegance, with an intense and harmonious aromatic profile.
The grapes are harvested both manually and mechanically, then destemmed before undergoing a traditional vinification of 2-3 weeks, with temperature-controlled fermentation. The aging takes place on fine lees, a process that helps give complexity and roundness to the wine, enhancing its structure.
Visually, it presents a deep red color. The bouquet is rich and complex, with notes of black cherry, raspberry, and black currant, enriched by hints of cocoa beans. On the palate, it is fresh and powerful, with velvety and well-integrated tannins that accompany a long and persistent finish with echoes of small red and black fruits and spicy accents.
It pairs perfectly with roast milk lamb with thyme or stuffed quail.
