Description
The Burja Noir Red Wine originates within the Slovenian wine area of the Vipacco Valley.
It is produced from pure Pinot Noir grapes, the only international grape variety grown by this company which is a tribute by its owner to the great Burgundy Pinot Noir. Macerated for about 21 days in oak vats, after malolactic fermentation in Slavonian oak barrels for 18 months.
It appears at the sight of a ruby red color. The olfactory spectrum revolves around hints of small red fruits, accompanied by spicy and herbaceous notes. On the palate it proves agile and well balanced, with a pleasant freshness.
Perfect to accompany roasts and game, it goes well with aged cheeses.
