Description

The Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Les Brûlées comes from vineyards of the Côte de Nuits, up to 50 years old, on the border with the Grand Cru Richebourg.

It is made from only Pinot Noir grapes, harvested manually in three steps. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 25-28 days. After 3-4 months the wine is transferred to new oak barrels, where it remains for 10-14 months to refine.

It has a concentrated ruby red color with violet reflections. Notes stand out between the smoked and the roasted, as well as aromas of black berry fruit, including cassis and blackberry. Wine of great personality, precise, elegant and balanced.

Ideal in combination with roasted red meat, it is perfect in the company of aged cheeses.
