Description

The Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Petits Monts, produced by Maison Louis Jadot, represents an exemplification of the tradition and excellence of Burgundy. Founded by Louis Henry Denis Jadot in 1859, this domain has been able to stand out in the wine scene thanks to its ability to combine innovation and respect for traditions. With a vineyard area of 225 hectares and an annual production of 8 million bottles, Maison Louis Jadot is committed to ecological viticulture, demonstrating its commitment to sustainability.

The vineyard from which Les Petits Monts was born is located in a privileged position, directly above the famous Richebourg of Romanée-Conti. The vinification involves the complete destemming of the bunches and fermentation in open vats for about a month, followed by aging in oak barrels for 18 months. This 1er Cru from Vosne-Romanée, although little known due to its limited production, reveals wines of exceptional roundness and great aging potential.
