Description
The Xyauyù Fume is part of the Teo Reserve, the most prestigious line of the Baladin brewery. Resuming the style of the Barley Wines, this high fermentation beer undergoes a process of macro oxidation and ages for twelve months in Islay Scottish whiskey barrels.
Baladin's Xyauyù Fume is proposed with an intense amber color, with evident copper reflections. The nose offers a sweet hints of caramel, with smoky base notes. In the mouth the aromas return with determination and balance, with the smoked that persists, accompanied by a light quercioso, given to the beer from the cask.
It is best expressed when accompanied by chocolate, it is pleasant even if tasted at the end of the meal.
