Franciacorta Extra Brut & Pas Dosé - Most loved by connoisseurs

In classic method sparkling wines such as Franciacorta , the dosage represents the final touch before corking. This is a top-up, which fills the liquid lost during disgorgement, with the so-called "liqueur d'expédition", consisting of a mixture of wine and a variable quantity of sugar, which determines the final dosage of the sparkling wine. If the final sugar residue of the wine does not exceed 6 grams per liter of wine , Franciacorta can be labeled as Extra Brut , while if the quantity is less than 3 g / l, it can be said not Dosato (or also Pas Dosé, Dosaggio Zero or Nature ).

Extra Brut and Pas Dosé tend to enhance the freshness without altering the original characteristics of the sparkling wine: they are therefore among the most appreciated by connoisseurs .
