Champagne and rosé sparkling wines

Rosé are a type of wine obtained from the sparkling process of rosé wine produced thanks to a short contact of the must with the skins of red berried grapes or by means of a blend of wines made from white berried grapes and red berried grapes. The latter method, which is not allowed for the production of still rosé wine, is traditionally used in the production of Champagne rosé, where Chardonnay-based white wines are blended together with wines made from Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier before refermentation in the bottle .
